Game Day Recap, Saturday, January 31st

Windsor Express vs. Mississauga Power



The Mississauga Power lose three in a row, going down 101-90 against the defending champs, Windsor Express. 

The Power managed to snag 32 points in the paint with Travis Releford pitching in 23 on the night. Warren Ward notched 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Brian Oliver and Tyrone Garland both scored 10 points with Garland's coming off the bench.

The Power drop to a 6-18 record with their next game Sunday, February 8th when the Power will look to regroup and strike down the London Lightning at the Hershey Centre. Tip-off time is 2 p.m. 

Ryan Anderson and Kirk Williams Jr. both added 23 points a piece for the Express win, with Williams Jr. coming from off the bench, the Express dominated inside the paint with 56 of their points coming from there. DeAndre Thomas netted 15 baskets, Kevin Loiselle pulled down 8 rebounds to go along with 12 points, and Quinnel Brown added 6 assists and 11 points. 

The Express improve to 18-7 on the season, next game for the Express is Wednesday, February 4th at the WFCU Centre when they host the London Lightning. Tip-off time is 7 p.m.
