Brampton A's vs. Mississuaga Power
The Brampton A's moved one step closer to a .500 record on Tuesday, beating the Mississauga Power 110-105 in the lone game on the National Basketball League of Canada schedule.
The 8-9 Brampton side, who beat the Power 114-111 at home on Sunday, relied on a strong 28 point performance from Tyshwan Edmonson, and from Akeen Ellis - who ended the night just short of a triple double, with 18 points, 10 rebounds.and eight assists.
Jabs Newbry, who was acquired by the 5-10 Power in a blockbuster trade with Saint John, lead his team with 27 points off the bench.
Tuesday's loss marked Mississauga's seventh in a row, making it the longest losing streak in the NBLC this season.
