Island 130-117 Moncton
The Island Storm moved up to a record of 1-1 on Sunday, taking down the Moncton Miracles 130-117 at Moncton Coliseum.
After going down by 25 points, the Miracles pulled the game close through the third quarter, bringing Island's lead down to just five points.
However, the Storm eventually pulled away in the fourth, getting their first win of the 2015-16 season.
Brent Jennings led the Storm with a game-high 32 points.
Moncton will take their 0-2 record to Halifax on Tuesday for a date with the Hurricanes. The Storm will have a bit of a break before hosting the Hurricanes on Thursday.

Saint John 110-103 Halifax
The Saint John Mill Rats continued impress on Sunday, taking down the Halifax Hurricanes 110-103 in a close affair at Harbour Station.
The veteran Mill Rats squad looked in-control early, limiting the Hurricanes to just 35 points through the first half.
Halifax will get a chance to improve their 1-1 record on Tuesday when they visit the 0-2 Moncton Mireacles. The 2-0 Mill Rats will host Moncton on Wednesday.

Niagara 106-104 London
The expansion Niagara River Lions earned their first win in franchise history in stunning fashion, toppling the London Lightning 106-104 after a wild finish.
After finding themselves down at the end of the third quarter, the River Lions outscored the Lightning 36-25 in the fourth quarter. Many of those points came from Sammy Zeglniski, who exploded for 15 points in the fourth quarter alone, ending the game with a team leading 22 points.
It seemed as though momentum had swung London's way after the Lightning forced Zeglinski into a back-court violation, giving London possession with the game tied. After Garrett Williamson converted 1 of 2 free throws on the other end, the River Lions ran the clock, trying to find Zeglinski for the final shot. Unable to do so, and with time running out, Clinton Springer-Williams launched a three that found net, earning the River Lions an unlikely victory.
The Lightning (1-1) play their next game on December 29th against the visiting Windsor Express. The River Lions (1-1) are back in action against the Express as well, as they will travel to Windsor on January 2nd.
