Island 108-88 Saint John
The 3-5 Island Storm took the second half of a home-and-home weekend series with Saint John on Sunday thanks to a 108-88 win over the Mill Rats in Charlottetown.
The Storm started the game up 14-0 before Gabe Freeman put Saint John on the board after nearly five minutes of play. Joe Salerno's team followed it up with a 13-1 run in the second quarter to take a 58-33 lead heading into half.
Island's strong defence kept the Mill Rats to a shooting percentage of just 30% through four quarters.
Ricky Volcy had 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Mill Rats. Nova Scotia-native Terry Thomas led the game with 21 points for the Storm.
Saint John, who are now 4-4, will be back in action on Wednesday when they visit the 6-1 Hurricanes. The Storm will await the arrival of the Windsor Express on Friday.

Windsor 112-109 Niagara
The 4-3 Windsor Express got some revenge on the expansion Niagara River Lions on Sunday with a 112-90 win at home.The two Central Divison foes went shot-for-shot for much of the game, with the first, second, and third quarters separated by a point each. However, Tony Jones's men pulled away in the fourth, going 34-13 against a River Lions team who edged them 92-91 on Tuesday.
Brandon Robinson led the way for the Express with 32 points. Mo Bolden had 22 points and 17 rebounds. Logan Stutz had 26 points for the River Lions, who are now 2-4.
The Express are set for an Atlantic Divison road trip, starting with a date against Moncton on Thursday. Niagara will head to London for a game against the Lightning on Thursday as well.
London 111-106 Orangeville
The London Lightning moved to the top of the Central Division standings on Sunday with a clutch 111-106 road win over Orangeville.The A's took an early 30-28 first quarter lead before London's bench, which scored 55 points on the day, carried the Lightning to a 4-2 record.
While Chris Thomas' team played well around the net (+9 rebounding differential, 56 points in the paint), their three-point shooters (3-13) and free throw form (63%) brought them down to a record of 2-2 on the season.
Stephen Maxwell led the Lightning with 22 points and 19 rebounds. Justin Moss continued his good form with Orangeville, putting up 24 points and 11 rebounds.
London will return home for a date with Niagara on Thursday. The A's will have the week off prior to their rematch with the Lightning at home on Sunday.
