Orangeville 87-86 London

Nick Okorie's buzzer-beating three pointer gave the London Lightning their sixth win in a row on Saturday, taking down Orangeville 87-86.

After Lewis Jackson drained a distance-two to give the A's the lead with 2.8 to go, London called a timeout to draw a play which likely would have seen Tyshawn Patterson take the foinal shot. However, Okorie pulled off the contested three pointer to send London to a 9-2 record.

Okorie and Jackson led the game with 23 points. Stephen Maxwell had 22 rebounds for London, which ties him for second most rebounds in one game in NBLC history.

London will take on Niagara at the Merdian Centre on Thursday. Orangeville is set to host Moncton on Thursday as well.
