Moncton 98-93 Halifax

Paul Mokeski won his first game at the helm of the Moncton Miracles on Thursday with a 98-93 decision in Halifax.

After trading leads through the first half, the Miracles exploded in the third quarter, winning the frame 35-16.

Dexter Strickland led the Miracles and game with 23 points.

Moncton, who are 7-11 will host Orangeville on Friday. Halifax (12-5) moves on to host the Island Storm on Friday.

Saint John 147-102 Orangeville

Anthony Anderson led Saint John with a massive 53 points in their 147-102 win over Orangeville.

The Mill Rats exploded for a 78-43 led through the first half.

Double A went 14-22 from the field and 9-15 from beyond the arc. His 53 points were three shy of the single-game record of 56 set by Devin Sweetney in 2013.

Orangeville will wrap up their four-game Atlantic Divison road trip on Friday in Moncton. Saint John, who are now 12-6, will head to Moncton on Thursday.

London 104-98 Windsor

The London Lightning held on for the 104-98 win over Windsor on Thursday, despite holding a 20-point lead in the first half.

The Express, who are now 9-10, pulled back in the second half but were unable to close out the game. Three straight missed threes ended Windsor's comeback late in the fourth.

Brandon Robinson led the game with 24 points. Akeem Wright had 19 points and eight assists for the Lightning.

The Express will take on the River Lions in Niagara on Sunday. London, who are now 16-4, will take on Windsor on Saturday.
