Moncton 113-103 Island

The Moncton Miracles won their first game on PEI in over a year on Sunday when they disarmed the Storm 94-87.

Moncton, who shot 54 percent from the field, took a 35-29 first-quarter lead and never looked back, winning their first game away to the Storm since Jan. 25, 2015. The Miracles are now 1-3 in Charlottetown this season.

Paul Mokeski's squad dominated the boards throughout the game, posting a +10 rebound margin largely in part to Tom Grando's game-high 18 boards.

Dexter Strickland led Moncton and the game with 23 points on 8-13 shooting. Tydran Beaty (18), James Justice (17), Brandan Kearney (17), and Granado (17) all ended with double-digit scoring totals.

Tirrell Baines led the Storm (10-17) with 22 points and seven rebounds.

Moncton (13-15) will head to Saint John on Wednesday for a date with the Miracles. The Storm's next game will take place on Sunday in Halifax.

Windsor 116-104 Saint John

The Windsor Express battled from a 22-point deficit on their way to a 116-04 overtime win at home against the Saint John Mill Rats on Sunday.

Saint John was up 69-47 with five minutes to go in the third before Windsor's offence kicked into gear, sending the game to OT locked at 101-101.

A Brandon Robinson three-pointer gave Windsor a 110-104 advantage with only a minute remaining. His Express would then cruise to victory, moving up to a record of 16-13.

Brandon Robinson led the Express with a game-high 25 points. Tony Bennett added 23.

Doug Herring Jr put up 19 points for the Mill Rats.

Windsor (16-13) are set to host Niagara on Thursday. Saint John will host Moncton on Wednesday.

Niagara Orangeville (8-19) at 

A pair of missed free-throws from Orangeville's Justin Moss with no time left on the clock gave Niagara the narrow 121-120 victory at the Meridan Centre on Sunday.

The back-and-forth game ended when Moss' contested buzzer-beater attempt saw a foul call against Sam Muldrow.

Moss, who led the game with 29 points and 11 rebounds, went 5-8 from the free-throw line in the game. Da'Quan Brooks notched 12 assists and nine points.

Logan Stutz led the River Lions with 26 points. Zeglinski posted 10 assists.

These two teams will meet at the Meridan Centre again on Wednesday.
