Niagara 104-97 Island
The Niagara River Lions came from behind in the fourth quarter to take down the Island Storm 104-97 at the Meridan Centre on Thursday.
Despite being down by as many as 10 points, the River Lions clawed their way back, eventually outscoring the Storm 104-97 in the final frame.
The win gives Niagara a 7-3 record in the month of March, which is the best such record out of the four Central Division teams.
B.J. Monteiro led all scorers with 29 points on 10-17 shooting. Tirell Baines led the Storm with 19 points and 15 rebounds.
The Storm, who have now dropped five straight games, will head to Orangeville to take on the A's on Friday. Niagara will host Windsor on Saturday.
