Halifax 97-89 Moncton

The Halifax Hurricanes snuck by the Moncton Miracles 97-89 on Wednesday, snapping a two-game losing skid with a short bench.

Despite only fielding eight players in total, Hugo Lopez's side managed to hold a considerable lead for much of the game. Moncton pulled the game to an 84-83 scoreline with 4:44 left to play but eventually saw their three-game winning streak come to an end.

Justin Johnson had 31pts for the Hurricanes after going a perfect 12-12 from the free throw line.

The Hurricanes (16-7) will host Saint John on Thursday. Moncton (12-14) will take on Saint John at home on Wednesday

Windsor 101-98 Niagara

The Windsor Express erased a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter to sneak past the River Lions 101-98 in Niagara on Wednesday.

A sluggish Windsor side was down 62-47 with 4:03 left in the third before outscoring Niagara 43-28 in the fourth to snap their two-game losing skid.

Chris Commons posted 28pts and 9reb for the Express. B.J. Monteiro had 19pts and 9rebs for the River Lions, who saw their franchise-first two-game win streak ended.

Windsor (14-12) is set to play in Orangeville on Friday. Niagara (8-17) will host London on Friday.
