Halifax 143-103 Saint John
The Halifax Hurricanes returned to the Scotiabank Centre and utterly dismantled the Saint John Mill Rats in the second game of a home and home series by a score of 143-103.Halifax had a solid offensive outing, with nine players scoring in double digits, two of which posted double-doubles in assists and points. Saint John's starters struggled mightily in this game, as 87 of their 103 points came from bench players. Poor shooting plagued Saint John as they shot 40% as a team from the field and a very cold 23% from beyond the arc. On the opposite side, Halifax shot 57% as a team and 48% from deep. The Hurricanes also out-rebounded Saint John 50-33.
Nine Halifax players put up double-digit point totals in the win, led by Billy White and Cameron Bennerman's 19 points apiece. Justin Johnson had an impressive double-double of 17 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. Canadians Joel Friesen and Renaldo Dixon each added 15 for their Hurricanes. Starting big men Mike Glover and Kyle Hunt had 14 points each while shooting guard Shane Gibson added 11 points and Clifford Clinkscales added a double-double of 10 points and 10 assists.
In the loss, Saint John was led by big man Keith Gayden's 24 points on 9-16 shooting. Chris Smith added 20 points of his own. Pitching in 18 points off the bench was Olu Famutimi. Garrius Holloman chipped in 12 and Jabs Newby scored 10. Halifax kept the Saint John big three of Gabe Freeman, Anthony Anderson, and Doug Herring to 13 total points on 3-12 shooting.
With the win, Halifax moves to a league best 23-9 record. Saint John fells to a record of 21-13.

London 114-98 Moncton
The London Lightning lost their second game in three days on Sunday when they were bested by the Moncton Miracles by a score of 114-98. This game was game three of three in a row for London on their four-game Atlantic Division road trip.The Miracles had a great game offensively and defensively as they kept one of the league's highest scoring offenses to under 100 points.
Besides both team struggling to shoot the ball from deep, Moncton used a 21 rebound advantage to secure the 16 point victory. Moncton out rebounded London 60-39.
Moncton fans were treated to an offensive outburst from former UNC player Dexter Strickland. The shooting guard dropped 42 points on the Lightning defense. He shot 12 of 20 from the floor and 17-19 from the free throw line. He also added 9 rebounds in a solid outing. High flying forward Tydran Beaty added 16 points on 8-13 shooting. Mike martin added 15 points, he too shot the ball well. Dynamic guard James Justice added 11 points and Will Creekmore added a double-double of 10 points and a game high 13 rebounds.
Rookie sensation Stephen Maxwell added 22 points and double-doubled with 11 rebounds to lead his team. Both Warren Ward and Akeem Scott scored 17 points on the night while the other Akeem, Akeem Wright added 15 points of his own. Rounding out the scoring was Nick Okorie who added 13 points.
