Windsor 100-98 London
(Windsor Leads 1-0)
The Windsor Express snuck out with the win at Budweiser Gardens on Thursday, taking down the London Lightning 100-98 to take Game 1 of their Central Division Final series.
After taking a 17-point lead following a massive third quarter, the Express collapsed in the fourth, letting London bring it within a point. A clutch three from Ryan Anderson, followed by a bonus shot, brought the Bolts back in.
A last-second half-court chuck from TyShawn Patterson didn't go, giving the Bolts their first home-court loss of these playoffs.
London shot a disappointing 13-22 from the foul line.
Brandon Robinson led the game with 32 points. Akeem Wright led the Lightning with 18 points and 16 rebounds.
Game 2 will take place in London on Sunday.
