Brandon Robinson and the Windsor Express out-shot the London Lightning on Tuesday, taking Game 3 of their Central Division Final 107-99 at the WFCU Centre in Windsor.Robinson backed up impressive Game 1 (32 points) & Game 2 (34 points) by leading his Express, which shot a blistering 56% from the floor, with 32 points.
London wasn't really able to catch up to Windsor after taking a 27-26 lead through the first quarter. Kyle Julius and the Bolts were able to pull it within four points with a minute left in the game before Tony Bennett delivered a three-point dagger. The Lightning's three-point shooting really let them down, as their perimeter shooters went a very poor 6-29 from beyond the arc, highlighted by three-straight missed threes in the last 30 seconds of the game.
The win gives the Express at 2-1 series lead.
Akeem Wright had 22 points for London. Chris Commons chipped in 19 points and 13 rebounds for Windsor.
Game 4 will take place in Windsor on Thursday.
