The Halifax Hurricanes took commanding lead of the Atlantic Division Final series with Saint John on Friday, taking down the Mill Rats 110-104 in overtime to take a 3-0 series lead.
After a strong third quarter, the Mill Rats took an impressive 63-59 lead into the final frame. Both teams stayed close until Halifax's Kyle Hunt went to the free throw line with 3.8 seconds left. Hunt went 1/2, which sent the game to overtime knotted up at 92-92.
The Hurricanes came alive in OT, taking a 7-0 lead on their way to a massive win.
