Game Day Recap: January 9th

Brampton A's vs. Halifax Rainmen



TyShawn Edmondson led the A's with 19 points, as they washed the Rainmen's hopes away of breaking a three-game losing streak, winning 102-92.

The A's improve to 9-10 on the season, while the Rainmen, who were once at the top of their division, slip to 8-8.

Thomas Granado, Akeem Scott, Brent Jennings, and Melvin Council all added points in the double-digits for the A's win.

Granado pulled down 9 rebounds to go along with his 18 points on the night, Scott and Jennings added 17 points to go along with Council's 11 points.

Tyrone Watson led the way for the Rainmen with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Sefton Barrett added his 14 points on the night, while Joey Haywood notched 13. Tim Parham and Kevin Young led the way in rebounds for the Rainmen with Parham pulling down 8 and Young pulling down 9.

Brampton A's next game is at home on Tuesday, January 13th against the defending champs, Windsor Express. Tip-off is 7 p.m.

Halifax continues their Ontario road trip as they head to the Budweiser Gardens to take on the London Lightning tomorrow night. Tip-off time is 7 p.m.
