The expansion Niagara River Lions picked former George Mason forward Erik Copes first overall. The 6'6" Philadelphia native played in 90 NCAA Divison 1 games with GM, shooting .496% over four years.
Moncton used the second overall pick to choose University of Detroit Mercy guard Brandan Kearney. The Detroit native started in 13 Div. 1 games last year, coming off of the bench another 20 times.
In total, 13 forwards, 10 guards, and one centre were chosen in three rounds. The twenty-four selected players have been invited to their drafted club's training camps ahead of the 2015-16 season.
