Halifax 124-121 Moncton
Joesph Bertand's buzzer-beating three-pointer in overtime gave the Halifax Hurricanes a 124-121 win over the Moncton Miracles on New Year's Day.
The two clubs headed to overtime notched at 114-114 after a strong second half from the Miracles, who went into halftime down 56-42.

Bertand's three-pointer, which can be seen below, was his only basket of the game.
The 0-5 Miracles will host the Island Storm on Sunday in the first of four straight home games. Halifax is set to host Saint John on Sunday.

Moncton's James Justice came up big for the away side, scoring 36 points, going 5-10 from beyond the three-point line.The 0-5 Miracles will host the Island Storm on Sunday in the first of four straight home games. Halifax is set to host Saint John on Sunday.

Windsor 111-94 Orangeville
The Windsor Express notched their first win on New Year's Day thanks to a 111-94 performance against the Orangeville A's.
Four Express players score more than 18 points in the game, with Chris Commons (22), Brandon Robinson (21), Tony Bennett (20), & Adrian Moss (19) all chipping in to move Windsor to a 2-1 record. Robinson and Bennett made their 2015-16 debuts for the club on Friday.
Justin Moss performed well for Orangeville, giving his club 22 points and five assists in a losing effort. Incredibly, the 6'8" forward scored 13 points from the free throw line (13-16).
Windsor will move on to host Niagara on Saturday. Orangeville head to London to take on the Lightning on Saturday as well.
