Moncton 123-114 Saint John
The Moncton Miracles won their second game in a row on Thursday, taking down the Saint John Mill Rats 123-114 at Moncton Coliseum.
The Miracles came back from an 82-75 deficit halfway through the third quarter to pull ahead from the 3-3 Mill Rats.
Those Mill Rats will move on to host the Island Storm on Saturday (7pm). Moncton will get a week off before playing the third game of their four-game home stand on Thursday against the Windsor Express.
Halifax 100-95 Island
The Halifax Hurricanes improved to a league-best 6-1 record on Thursday thanks to a 100-95 win over the Island Storm in Charlottetown.
Both clubs traded blows throughout the game before going on a 26-19 run in the fourth quarter.
Halifax's Mike Glover and Island's Lovell Cook led the game with 19 points.
The 2-4 Storm left 13 points on the free throw line, going 59% from the charity stripe.
The Storm will take on the Mill Rats on Saint John on Saturday. Halifax will get the weekend off before hosting the Mill Rats Saint John on Wednesday.
