Gameday -- Feb. 27, 2016

Moncton 123-105 Niagara

The Moncton Miracles got back in the win column on Saturday thanks to effective shooting in a 123-105 decision at home against Niagara.

Moncton, who had a three-game win streak ended on Thursday at the hands of Saint John, shot 51% from the field and 37% from three point land.

Brandon Kearney led the Miracles and the game with 25 points. Logan Stutz went 8-13 from the field to lead the River Lions with 20 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.

Moncton's win came despite their poor showing on the boards (outrebounded 69-51, Niagara grabbed 30 offensive rebounds).

Moncton (9-12) will visit the Island Storm on Sunday. Niagara, who are now 6-16, will now return to Ontario. They are set to host Orangeville on March 3.
