Island 120-102 Moncton

The Island Storm blew out the Moncton Miracles 120-102 on Sunday in front of a record crowd of 3,205 at Eastlink Arena.

The Storm dominated an overwhelming majority of the game, largely in part to the physical play of their forwards, who helped the 8-14 Storm out-rebound the Miracles 53-45.

Brian Addison led the Storm and the game with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Malcolm Grant added 19 points and 10 assists for the Storm. James Justice put up 21 points off of the bench for the Miracles, who are now 8-12.

Moncton will travel to Saint John on Friday for a date with the red-hot Mill Rats. The Storm will host Halifax on Friday.

London 124-113 Orangeville

The London Lightning rode a strong second quarter performance to victory in Orangeville on Sunday, beating the lowly A's 124-113.

The Lightning out-scored the A's 37-12 in the second quarter, leading by as much as 32 before halftime. The A's, who lost their eighth straight, could catch up to the Lightning, who shot 51% (19-1-37) from beyond the arc.

Orangeville's Justin Moss went 10-12 from the field and 11-11 from the line to finish with a game-high 31 points. Warren Ward had 26 points for the Lightning.

London will take on the Express in Windsor on Thursday. Orangeville will head to Niagara for a date with the River Lions on Thursday as well.

Saint John 107-95 Halifax

The Saint John Mill Rats won their fifth straight game on Sunday, taking down Halifax 107-95 at Harbour Station.

Saint John exploded in the third quarter, outscoring the Hurricanes 36-16 after a mostly back-and-forth first half.

Doug Herring Jr. put up 26 points and 14 boards for the Mill Rats, who are now tied with he Hurricanes at the top of the Atlantic Divison with a 14-6 record.

Ex-New York Knick Chris Smith had an impressive debut for Saint John, posting 10 points and two rebounds in 12 minutes of play.

Saint John will host Moncton on Friday. Halifax will head to PEI for a date with the Island Storm on Friday as well.
