Orangeville 113-98 Windsor

The Orangeville A's proved that any team could win on any night against the Windsor Express on Friday when they took down the Express 113-98. Orangeville used a strong first half to get ahead of the visiting Express and never looked back the rest of the way. Windsor never managed to get back in the game and struggled from the field.

Orangeville improved to 8-15 while Windsor failed to gain on London, dropping to a record of 14-13.

Orangeville got a balanced scoring contribution as seven players scored in double digits, lead by Louis Munk's 22 points. Tyrone Watson made his return to the NBLC posting and impressive 18 points in his Orangeville debut. Richard Amardi and point guard Da'Quan Brooks added 16 apiece. Brooks posted the only double-double on the night with a game-high 13 assists. Flenard Whitfield added 12 while Justin Moss and Dominic Cheek both had 10 points respectively.

Mo Bolden lead his team with 19 points on the night. Tony Bennett added 15 points before fouling out. Both Brandon Robinson and Chris Commons both scored well under their season averages, posting 12 points each. The scoring was rounded out by Shaq Keith and Kirk William Jr's 11 points.

Niagara 100-98 Niagara

The Niagara River Lions came from behind to beat the Central Division-leading London Lightning on Friday by a score 100-98. After a back and forth first half, London looked to have taken control of the game. Unfortunately, they relinquished their lead late in the fourth.

London fell to 17-9 on the season, losing their third in a row and their fifth in their last six. The River Lions improved to 9-17 on the season.

The River Lions were lead by point guard Sammy Zeglinski's 22 points, six rebounds and seven assist. The league's leading scorer, Logan Stutz, had 21 points. Mike Allison notched a solid double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. The scoring was rounded out by rookie guard Adam Blazek's 13 points.

Shooting guard Ryan Anderson had an impressive night scoring a game-high 26 points and leading his team with nine rebounds. Akeem Wright chipped in 17 points and a team high 6 assists. Nick Okorie (13), Nick Evans (11), and Warren Ward (10) also scored in double digits respectively for their team.
