Halifax (27-9) at Island (13-24)
The Halifax Hurricanes win an easy one over the Island Storm at the EastLink Center. With the 122-92 win, Halifax moves to 27-9 on the season and the Island Storm fall to 13-24 and fail to catch the Moncton Miracles for the #3 seed in the Atlantic Division. Halifax lead the entire game and outscored the Storm every quarter.
The Hurricanes nearly shot twice the field goal percentage as the Storm. Halifax posted a shooting percentage of 61% while the Storm shot a cold 35%. Despite turning over the ball 22 time, Halifax managed to pull out a win.
In the win, Halifax was lead by Canadian guard Joel Friesen's game high 24 points and game high 12 rebounds, Friesen also hit four shots from deep. Center Kyle Hunt added 17 points on 8 of 10 shooting on the night. Mike Glover, Billy White, and Justin Johnson each scored 16 points respectively for their team in the win. Adding a double-double was Clifford Clinkscales who posted 10 points and a game high 13 assists.
The Island Storm was lead by Brent Jennings' 18 points. Canadian Morgan Lewis scored 16 points and added four three pointers. Adding 13 points was Canadian Terry Thomas, while Chad Posthumus added 12 points and 7 rebounds. Former Hurricane Joseph Bertrand added 11 points in the loss.

London (24-14) at Niagara (16-22)
The London Lightning won an exciting game tonight against the Niagara River Lions 125-124. After being down by as many as 21 points in the first half, the Lightning used an impressive second half to outscore the River Lions and win the game. With this win, London improves to 24-14 on the season while Niagara falls to 16-23. London won this one without head coach Kyle Julius was ejected mid way through the second quarter after getting back-to-back technical fouls.
Defense was not a highlight from either teams tonight as both teams scored over 120 points and both shot around 50% from the field. Fouls were aplenty in this one as both teams combined for 46 team fouls. London hit 10 of their 16 total three pointers in the second half to cut the deficit and win the game.
In the come back win, Akeem Scott lead his team with a near triple-double of a team high 26 points and 10 assists, he grabbed 9 rebounds as well. Nick Okorie scored 18 points on 8 of 13 shooting for the night. Both Akeem Wright and Stephen Maxwell scored 16 points respectively, the latter added 10 rebounds for a double-double. Maxwell was also a perfect 8 of 8 from the free throw line. Rounding out the scoring was Ryan Anderson's 15 points and Canadian Garrett Williamson's 10 points.
For the home town team, B.J. Monteiro lead the way with a River Lions record 44 points, he scored 27 in the first half alone. Monteiro shot 19 of 27 from the field and added a game high 11 rebounds and an impressive 7 assists. Former Kansas Jayhawk, Travis Releford, had 22 points and tied a team high 8 assists. Center Da'Quan Cook and forward Logan Stutz added 13 apiece. Sammy Zeglinski added 10 points in the loss to go along with 8 assists.
