Windsor (20-18) at Halifax (27-10)

Halifax dropped their game against the Windsor Express this afternoon in a 111-93 decision.  Windsor managed to outscore the Atlantic Division's top team in all four quarters on their way to an easy 18 point victory.  With the win Windsor moves to 20-18 on the season while Halifax, after clinching the best record in the league, fall to 27-10.  Halifax was the last remaining team with single digits in the loss category.

Halifax can look to their poor shooting from distance, as they only hit 5 of the 29 shots they attempted from three, they hit a mere 17%.  Windsor had a solid all around shooting game, posting 55% from the floor and 44% from deep.

For the visitors, Chris Commons and Brandon Robinson lead the game with 26 points apiece.  Commons also lead his team with 9 rebounds.  Billy Rush added 15 points while Mo Bolden added 11.  Despite only scoring 7 points, Tony Bennett posted an impressive 11 assists to help his team get the win.  

In the loss, Justin Johnson lead his Hurricanes with 25 points on 9 of 15 shooting.  Shooting guard Shane Gibson added 16 points while Mike Glover had 15 points and a team high 9 rebounds.  Billy White rounded out the scoring with 10 points of his own.

Island (13-25) at Saint John (24-14)

The Mill Rats used a strong fourth quarter to pull out a victory against the Island Storm at Harbor Station, Sunday afternoon.  After a back and fourth game, Saint John scored an impressive 37 fourth quarter points to seal the victory.  The Island Storm's poor free throw shooting played a role in the loss, they shot 57%.

In the win, Saint John moves to 24-14 on the season while the Island Storm falls to 13-25.

The home fans were treated by a vintage Anthony Anderson game as the veteran guard scored 29 points and handed out 8 helpers.  The other former MVP, Gabe Freeman scored 27 points and had a double-double with 10 rebounds.  Point guard Doug Herring Jr. added 16 points and a game high 9 assists.  The scoring was rounded out by big man Anthony Stover's 10 points and 9 rebounds.

The Island Storm was lead by Brent Jennings' game high 31 points on an impressive 12 of 18 shooting, he also hit 6 of the 7 three pointers he shot.  Canadian Terry Thomas pitched in 20 points while point guard Malcolm Grant added 14.  Tirrell Baines had a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.  Canadian big man Chad Posthumus had 12 points and 9 rebounds.
