Island 101-100 Halifax
The Island Storm came up big in Charlottetown on Friday, taking down the league-leading Halifax Hurricanes 101-100 in their fight for third place in the Atlantic.Halifax's Justin Johnson went 1-2 from the line with 37 seconds to go, which would be the last score of the game. A last-minute buzzer-beater attempt by Johnson went wide, giving the Storm only their second win against the Hurricanes this season.
The Storm's proficiency beyond the arc (10-23) gave them the boost they needed against the high-flying Hurricanes.
Terry Thomas dropped 27 points for the Storm. Johnson added 17 for the Hurricanes.
The Storm will host Moncton on Saturday, the final day of the regular season. The winner will take on Saint John in the playoffs next week. Saint John will take on Halifax on Saturday.

Saint John 109-99 Moncton
Anthony Anderson had 33 points and six assists as the Saint John Mill Rats took down their New Brunswick rivals 109-99 at Harbour Station.The Mill Rats shot the lights out (51%, 42-81) throughout the game, handing Moncton their sixth loss in a row.
Justin Johnson put up 24 points and four assists in a losing effort. Canadian Ricky Volcy put up 17 points and 10 rebounds for the second-place Mill Rats.
Saint John will host Halifax tomorrow. Moncton will battle the Island Storm tomorrow for the third seed in the Atlantic and the right to take on Saint John in the first round.

London 122-113 Orangeville
The London Lightning pulled off a big comeback in Orangeville on Friday, taking down the A's 122-113 in a playoff preview at the Athlete's Institute.The Bolts were down 84-77 heading into the fourth quarter.
These two clubs will kick-off their Central Divison Semi-Final series on Monday in London.
Garret Williamson led the Lightning with 21 points.
London will host Windsor on Saturday. Orangeville will host River Lions on Saturday.

Windsor 112-96 Niagara
The Windsor Express completed an impressive comeback on Friday, taking down their future playoff foes 112-96 at the WFCU Centre.The River Lions held a dominant 28-18 lead through the first quarter. However, the Express exploded in the next two frames, out-scoring their Central Divison rivals 70-42 in the second and third quarters.
Logan Stutz put up 26 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort. Chris Commons notched 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Express.
Windsor will take on the Lightning in London on Saturday. Orangeville will host Niagara.
