Mill Rats Sign MVPs Freeman And Anderson, Unveil New Logo

The Saint John Mill Rats announced a pair of major signing Thursday, with two former league MVPs joining the new-look squad.

Along with the signing of Gabe Freeman and Anthony Anderson, the Mill Rats also unveiled a new logo.

Anderson has been with the organization for more than five years, leading the NBLC in last year at 19.7 points per game. He was named NBLC MVP for the 2013-2014 season.

Freeman was awarded league MVP in 2011-12, NBLC’s first season, after leading the London Lightning to the league’s first championship. He returned to the Lightning in 2013-14, only to be cut after six games.
