London (19-9) at Windsor (17-14)

The London Lightning go into the WFCU Center and win a thriller against the Windsor Express tonight to the tun of 113-110.  This one came down to the final seconds as Windsor's Sharron Collins failed to hit a game tying three with 2.5 seconds left in the game.  After a wacky ending with the ball bouncing off several players before rolling out of bounds for the time to expire and London walked away with the narrow victory.  London lead by as many as 11 with four minutes to go in the fourth.  Untimely fouls to Akeem Wright and Akeem Scott saw London's lead diminish as their two of their better players fouled out.

London gets a much needed win to improve their hold over the rest of the Central Division as they climb to 19-9 on the season while Windsor fails to make the home stand sweep and and gain on London as they fall to 17-14 on their season.

This was an important match up between the two Central Division leaders.  Windsor now leads the season series 5-4 over London.  London lost the last two meetings between these two teams.

For the Lightning, rookie star Steven Maxwell and Canadian Warren Ward lead their team with 24 points apiece.  Maxwell also recorded a double-double adding 10 rebounds.  Veteran big man Akeem Wright chipped in a impressive double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out late in the fourth.  Newest Addition Akeem Scott and sharpshooter Ryan Anderson posted 12 points each respectively.

For the home team, Chris Commons lead his team and the game with an impressive 25 points on 10 of 16 shooting.  Forward Kirk Williams Jr chipped in 23 off the bench and lead the game with 11 rebounds as well.  Brandon Robinson scored 17 points to go along with 5 rebounds and 6 assists in an impressive all around game.  Canadian guard Shaq Keith added 13 points on the night while point guard Tony Bennett scored 10 points and dished out a game high 8 assists.
